3 Free Basketball Picks 1/8/06: New York To Win Wild One

We have poised the best 2 games of the night to be the Sonics-Knicks matchup as well as the Nets-Raptors matchup. Our free basketball picks predictions are shown below.

Best: Sonics @ Knicks: After a 3OT game to Phoenix and an OT game to the Sixers, it's clear that high-scoring home games for the Knicks are going to be entertaining. And while both teams lack of defense will be the reason they miss they playoffs, it should make for an enjoyable game. Predicted Score: New York wins in a shoot out 111-108. The Over comes in easily in this game.

Runner-up: Nets @ Raptors: It's not coincidental that the Nets and Rockets face Toronto in back-to-back games. Since Jalen Rose went to the bench, the Raptors have had a clearer vision of what they're supposed to do and Rose himself has been playing great. Predicted Score: Toronto wins on the backs of their home court advantage 103-98

Blowout: Nuggets @ Rockets: Houston may slow the ball down to a slither but they are at their best when they score 100+. The Rockets have a very good record when they score in triple-digits, and playing Denver should give them the chance to do just that. Predicted Score: Houston wins in a no brainer 106-88 easily toppling any spread.
