A Guide To Teachers

As schooling is compulsory until the age of 16, teachers play a large role in the life of all people. The average student spends 6 or more hours a day in school, and this is all under the supervision of teachers. In many ways, these dedicated men and women help form a backbone of society, as they help educate everyone from children to adults, and share their expert knowledge on various subjects. From learning the basics in kindergarten to passing on post-graduate PhD knowledge, teachers are an integral part of society.

Some of the earliest and most-regarded thinkers and teachers included Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. While teachers take on somewhat different roles in modern-day society, these men helped pave the way for the teaching profession to develop as it has. Many teachers are required to have more than one skill: in addition to teaching, they often serve as role models, and are responsible for ensuring a safe and stable learning environment for their students.

Many famous names in history were also considered great teachers in their times One such teacher in the field of classical music was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mozart taught music to many students, and shared his gift with the world in a way only a teacher could. Marie Curie and Louis Pasteur had many followers who were inspired by their dedication to discovering the unknown in the realm of science. Even Albert Einstein, regarded as one of the smartest men ever born, often took on the role of a teacher.

In current times, teaching is often seen as a noble profession, thanks to long hours, low pay and the sometimes thankless task it can feel like. Regardless, there are many great teachers out there who have a passion for knowledge and sharing it with others. These people make the best teachers and leave a large imprint on their students' lives.
